This two-day workshop is designed as a complete system: Day 1 gives you the program design framework, Day 2 develops your facilitation mastery. Together, they transform how you lead groups. While each day delivers standalone value, participants who attend both gain Mark's full methodology - from concept to transformational delivery. If your schedule or budget allows only one day, enrol in Day 1.
Master Class 1:
Remarkable Program Design
Programs that intentionally develop trusting relationships outperform all others - driving greater participation, stronger team cohesion, and measurably better outcomes. Yet most group leaders, facilitators and trainers struggle to design experiences that create genuine connection without sacrificing learning objectives or wasting precious time.
In this highly interactive workshop where you'll discover how to strategically integrate relationship-building into your programs from the very first moment. This day focuses on foundational program design principles that transform ordinary sessions into high-impact experiences. You will:
-
Master the science-backed sequencing that accelerates trust and psychological safety.
-
Experience 15 to 20 fun group games & activities (mostly no or low-props) that create connection while advancing your learning goals.
-
Learn the "lazy facilitator" approach featuring low-effort, high-impact strategies.
-
Receive Mark's proven program design framework you can adapt to any setting - corporate training, education, or community facilitation.
You'll leave Day 1 with a clear roadmap, ready-to-use activities, and the confidence to design programs where connection isn't an add-on - it's the engine that drives results.
Master Class 2
Critical Facilitation Skills
Running great activities is one thing. Facilitating transformation is another. Many group leaders struggle to create genuine engagement - and even those who do often can't translate that energy into lasting insight, behavioural change, and group growth. Without a solid foundation in facilitation best practices, programs remain surface-level, and your potential impact stays untapped.
Join Mark Collard as he demonstrates and explores the essential facilitation skills that separate competent group leaders from exceptional ones - skills you can apply immediately, whether you attended Day 1 or are joining us for the first time. You will:
-
Experience 10-15 strategically designed activities that demonstrate core facilitation principles in action
-
Discover three universal truths of programming that explain why some facilitation approaches consistently succeed while others fail
-
Learn to read group dynamics and adapt in real-time to what your participants actually need
-
Master the art of debriefing: ask questions that unlock insight without forcing artificial "aha moments"
You'll leave Day 2 with proven facilitation techniques, a deeper understanding of how groups actually learn and change, and the confidence to facilitate experiences that don't just engage people - they transform them.
